Avoiding Climate Breakdown: what we must do! Public talk and discussion led by Alan Simpson

Alan Simpson is currently the shadow chancellor’s adviser on sustainable economics. He was Labour MP for Nottingham South from 1992-2010; he resigned in order to tackle climate and energy issues. The talk will cover:

  • The climate threat
  • What government can do – locally/nationally
  • International lessons: learning from others
  • Next steps: changing everything!

With contributions from Derbyshire students taking part in school climate strikes)
